Designation: Support Engineer L1 (Networking Profile)

Location: Ahmedabad

Reports to: Service Delivery Manager – IT Infra

Ready to work with night shift

Key Responsibilities Area :

Understanding of networking protocols.

Understanding of IP Subnetting, IP packet flow & DHCP packet flow.

Knowledge of Static and dynamic routing and Switching Protocols.

Basic knowledge of VLAN, STP, SSH, SNMP V3, Port Security, ACL etc.

Understanding of TCP/UDP ports and network tools like Wireshark.

Good understanding of IPV4 and IPV6.

Investigating faults in the network.

Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases.

Basic configuration of router, LAN switch, firewall, wireless, servers, backup systems etc.

Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.

Raise Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and track these through to problem resolution.

Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.

Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.

Perform backup for network devices.

Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.

Basic knowledge of AD & Create VM, Snapshot, Template in VMWare.

Skills :

Open to work in night shift environment

Excellent command over English (Verbal & Written)

Flexible and willing to come on Weekends and Holidays
